As a fan of the 1978 Christopher Reeve Superman movie, and thirsting for all things Superman, I could not find a film accurate “Caped Wonder Stuns City” newspaper, except for one $4,000 prop that was screen used!!!
 
So, I decided to make one for myself, and make it available for fans who also felt like I did. I wanted this replica, but personally did not 'need' a screen used prop for thousands of dollars. I wanted a sheet I could frame and hang up.

This is a new, huge, 1 page, Full-Sized Newspaper Broadsheet (13.8” x 19.6") Daily Planet replica, and was the result of many hours of work recreating this newspaper, from multiple screen used reference photos, to look exactly as it is seen in the film.

As a personal Superman fan, this project was indeed a labor of love for me to recreate accurately. This was the result of many hours of work, recreating the pages with precise page reconstruction, font matching, and graphic design using the best images and reference available, and source "real" newspaper printers who would create the large size I needed. Once found, it was digitally printed on broadsheet newsprint, to authentically recreate the movie prop. And, Voila! Here it is!
