Amity Gazette Newspaper Replica - "Killer Shark Caught!" Real Newspaper material / Broadsheet Page Reproduction.
"They caught "a" shark...not "the" shark " - Matt Hooper
This is a fictional creation of the Amity Gazette newspaper issue that was "probably" printed the day after the Tiger Shark was caught, that was mistakenly identified as the predator responsible for Amity's summer nightmare.
• Huge tabloid size
• Printed on Newsprint for accuracy, and folded
• Ready to be framed and displayed in a 18" x 24" frame
• Huge size!! (350mm/ 13.8” x 500mm/ 19.6)
• 1 full sheet, folded, printed front & back
• 100% unique & exclusive
• Limited newspaper print run
So, in the movie, with the media frenzy about the news of the Tiger shark's capture, there would have undoubtedly been an early morning issue of the Amity Gazette, celebrating the capture of the "Amity Killer Shark", but with all the facts "wrong" as we find out later in the day.
Actually, the shot of the group picture (taken on the dock) is actually prominently displayed in the movie pinned up, as the tourists start to flood Amity for the 4th of July!
A REALLY UNIQUE JAWS COLLECTIBLE!
As a huge JAWS fan, this project was indeed a labor of love for me, and a labor-intensive work to create, from hand-making the non-existing headline typeface, to the painstaking recreation, and is a large, 1 page, Full-Sized Newspaper Broadsheet (13.8” x 19.6") replica.
It's is a great collectible for the JAWS fan, and one-of-a kind, professional, 100% authentic creation, printed on real Newsprint, and looks absolutely genuine.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE:
This is a fan-produced, reproduction of an Amity Gazette newspaper. This is NOT a screen-used item, and in no way portrays itself to be that.
I make absolutely no claim to be associated with Universal Pictures. All characters are copyright of Universal Pictures.
*As this replica is printed on 100% real newspaper, I would recommend keeping this out of direct sunlight, as yellowing may occur, as with any real newspaper.
