This is an opportunity to FINALLY own a full-size broadsheet, film-accurate reproduction of the “Winged Freak Terrorizes Gotham’s Gangland” newspaper page from 1989, This is the "Holy Grail" of Prop Newspapers. This, of course, is from the famous "Wait'll they get a load of me" scene from the 89 Michael Keaton film.
This has never been reproduced, nor have I ever seen any authentic screen used props of this particular newspaper. Other film newspaper props go for HUNDREDS of dollars at prop auctions, but now you can get the "Winged Freak" newspaper reproduction for a fraction of the cost of an actual screen-used prop.
This is a new, huge, 1 page, Full-Sized Newspaper Broadsheet (13.8” x 19.6") replica, and was the result of many hours of work recreating this newspaper to look exactly as it is seen in the film.
As a personal Batman fan, this project was indeed a labor of love for me to recreate accurately. This was the result of many hours of work, recreating the pages with precise page reconstruction, font matching, and graphic design using the best images and reference available. Then digitally printed on broadsheet newsprint, to authentically recreate the movie prop.
Newspaper movie props are often very expensive due to their limited creation and that they often never survive after filming. This particular newspaper, “the 1989 ‘Holy Grail” of newspaper props has never been accurately reproduced, until now. This will look great in a frame, and be a great addition to any cave!
